Following disagreement with police, Army withdraws from Janipur

Jammu: Army on Saturday withdrew from Janipur area in Jammu following some disagreement with the police posted there.

It is pertinent to mention here that Army was deployed in Jammu today in the backdrop of yesterday’s arson.

Sources in police said that there was a heated argument between an army and a police officer. Though details of the argument were not known, sources said that they had some serious disagreement about how to deal with the situation.

Following the disagreement, the army withdrew from Janipur, sources added.
