SPO shot dead, wife injured by unknown gunmen in Bijbehara

Tral: Unidentified gunmen on Wednesday late evening injured an employee of Power Development Department (PDD)  in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources told a local news gathering agency that a PDD employee namely Lateef Ahmad was shot at in Amlar area of Tral by unidentified gunmen. He was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, they said.

A police officer while confirming the incident said that he was shot in the leg and his condition is stable.
