Srinagar, February 12, 2019: All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani has expressed his shock on the demise of Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Bashir-ud-din Farooqi and said that every living creature has to perish.
He said that deceased was not only a learned Islamic Scholar, but a noble and pious man as well. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
On the directions of Geelani, Syed Naseem-u-Zaffer Geelani participated the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of Mufti Bashir-ud-din Farooqi, a statement issued said.
