Srinagar, Feb 13: A 12-year-old girl died on Wednesday morning in an accident that took place at Zangam village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla told KNS that a girl died in a mishap after a Xylo vehicle bearing registration No JK09-8170 was on way from Kupwara to Srinagar slipped and rolled down near Zangam Petrol Pump.
The deceased girl was identified as Urba Ahad, daughter of Ab Ahad Sofi of Armpora Kupwara.
She died on spot, police said, adding that a case has been registered while the dead body has been handed over to legal heairs for her last rites. (KNS)
