February 02: Ganderbal police have arrested two thieves and recovered the stolen cash of a poor man.
Police Station Kheer Bhawani received a written complaint from a poor old man Ghulam Muhammad Sheikh son of Khaliq resident of Wakura Ganderbal that his cash of Rs. 30,000 was stolen by some thieves, a police spokesman said.
In this regard, a case FIR No 05/2019 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Kheer Bhawani and investigation was taken up.
“During the course of investigation, the stolen money has been recovered from the possession of two suspected pickpockets namely Mohd Amin Bhat son of Ali Mohd and Mohd Yaqoob Ganie son of Gh. Mohd residents of Kawoosa Khalisa Budgam. Both were arrested,” he said.
