ANATNAG, FEBRUARY 02: Maraaz Adbi Sangam in collaboration with Government Boys Degree College Anantnag today organised one-day seminar on the life and contribution of Late Gh Nabi Nazir, Arjun Dev Majboor and Gh. Mohammad Rafeeq towards Kashmiri language and literature.

On the occasion, Principal of the college Professor Bashir Ahmad Rather was the Chief Guest, while as famous scholar, writer, poet and critique GN Aatish, Patron Maraaz Adbi Sangam Aijaz Gh Mohammad Lalu and Chief Editor JKAACL Zafar Muzaffar were guests of honour.

In the seminar, three papers were presented by Bashir Zayir, Dr. Shaida Hussain and Lone Imtiyaz regarding the contribution of the three literary personalities in the field of Kashmiri Language and Literature.

Noted Scholar and critique GN Aatish said that they have contributed tremendously towards the Kashmiri literature and need of the hour is to study their write ups including their poetry, prose and translations in order to add more to the Kashmiri Language and bring forward and preserve it for the future generations. He suggested that Kashmiri language should be taught in all the schools and spoken in the homes with proud so that it does not get extinct.
