PULWAMA, FEBRUARY 01: District Industries and Commerce Department conducted a one day awareness Programme cum workshop to sensitize the stakeholders about central Governments initiative “Ease of doing business” here at IGC Lassipora.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Qazi Masood Ahmad was the chief guest on the occasion, while as General Manager DIC and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
During the programme, stakeholders were briefed about the recent schemes and the initiatives taken by the government to simplify and rationalize the implementation of the schemes for the expansion and development of industrial sector in the state.
Experts from DIC and various entrepreneurship institutions highlighted the entrepreneur friendly features of Central and State Govt schemes like MSME, PMEGP, Special Package scheme for Himalayan states and state employment guarantee scheme.
ACR enjoined upon the participants to avail the benefits and incentives of such schemes. He also stressed upon the Industry and Commerce Department and allied Institutions to work in the spirit of “Ease of Doing Business” and facilitate a hassle free and conducive environment for new entrants into the entrepreneurship.
He also stressed upon the business community to adopt ethical practices of business and commerce.
The camp was attended by all unit holders registered under MSME and prospective entrepreneurs of the district.
