Srinagar, January 27: Hamdard-e-kupwara Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of VAJRA Division and HAJIPIR Brigade organised the Republic Day celebrations with the Awaam of Kupwara.
In a statement issued here, a defense spokesman said: “The event saw the distribution of sweets and stationary to the children, followed by refreshments for all present. The young children were encouraged to take an oath to work hard on their education and draw a better canvas for tomorrow.”
“The large participation at the event strengthened the bond of trust between the Army and Awaam, making the event a grand success. The thought that the Republic isn’t just a constitution but a belief which is based on national fervour, commitment and universal brotherhood, resonated throughout the occasion,” he added.
