Jury assesses entries for Srinagar Smart City logo

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 22: The Srinagar Smart City Limited Tuesday held an assessment meeting of expert jury to evaluate the entries for logo design for the Srinagar Smart City programme.

The jury included experts from the National Institute of Fashion Technology and the Kashmir University’s School of Fine Arts. Independent professional graphic designers were also part of the jury assessing the entries.

IG Police Kashmir SP Pani was also part of the deliberations in which nearly two hundred entries received were assessed.

CEO Srinagar Smart City, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, said Srinagar is going to be the first city from across the country to have a logo for its Smart City programme.

He said it has been decided that the competition deadline will be extended to get as many entries to choose from and that a notification in this regard will be issued soon.
