Two militants gunned down in Jammu, gunfight on

Baramulla : A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces at Binner village in the outskirts of  Baramulla town  on Wednesday.
Official sources said that a heavy contingent of army and SOG cordoned off the area today in the afternoon.
“A joint team of army’s 46 RR, SOG and 53 bn CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Binner village in outskirts of Baramulla following inputs about the presence of militants,” a top Army official said.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants opened fire triggering off a gunfight.
SSP Baramulla Imtiyaz Hussain also confirmed that the exchange of firing militants and joint team of police and security forces in the area.
