PUNE, JANUARY 18: Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali, presently on a two-day visit to Pune, Maharashtra  attended the 9th ‘Rashtriya Chhatra Sansad’ Conclave and presided over the 1st session under the theme “Fake news and Social Media – A Lethal combination.”

In his address, the Chairman implored upon the Political activists and students of the country to come forward and work cohesively to counter the menace of the fake news. “We should use the medium of social media very cautiously and use it for the nation building and   ensure that it does not become a tool in the hands of hate mongers to spread anarchy in the society,” he added.

The Chairman praised the organizer MIT World Peace University and in particular it’s Founder and Executive President Prof Vishwanath D Karad and Dr Rahul V Karad, Executive President MIT Group of Institutions and Convenor of National Students Parliament.
