DIPR organizes Na’atiya Mushaira

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 12: The Culture Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today organized a Na’atiya Mushaira titled ‘Tajdar-e- Madina’ in collaboration with a cultural organization Nundreshi Karwan-e-Adab, Chrari Sharief, here at its auditorium.

Joint Director Information (JDI), Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak was Chief Guest, while noted poet Mohammad Abdullah Muntazir presided over the literary event.

The JDI assured the audiences that the department will continue to provide platform to the poets, artists and budding writers to showcase their talent.

During the Na’atiya Mushaira Mushtaq Ahmad Saznawaz and party mesmerized the audiences with their Sufiana Naat’ya kalam.

Poets Khalid Abrar, Sana Ullah Snober, Shakeel Azad and Aajiz Farooq recited their work in   Urdu and Kashmiri languages garnering praises from the audiences.

The naats on the occasion were recited by Naat Khwans Abdul Majeed Asim, Cultural Officer DIPR Riaz Ahmad Fazili and noted Singer Muneer Ahmad Muneer.

The President Nundreshi Karwan Adab Chrari Sharief Ghulam Mohammad Nowsoz felicitated Joint Director Information Kashmir, Culture officer and Assistant Exhibition and Culture Officer for organising the event aimed at promoting the poets, artists and budding writers of the state and providing them a chance to showcase their talent.

The proceedings of the function and vote of thanks were presented by Assistant Exhibition and Culture Officer Shakeel Shan.
