DDC Poonch reviews progress on BADP, discusses formulation of Annual Action plan 2019-20

POONCH, JANUARY 12:  District Development Commissioner, Rahul Yadav today reviewed the progress of works being executed in the district under BADP plan in a meeting of officers of different departments held here today.

ADDC Abdul Hamid, ACD, CPO, Executive Engineers of PWD, PHE and PDD, CMO, CEO, DPO and BDOs attended the meeting.

While reviewing the progress of works, the DDC directed the concerned officers to provide adequate basic facilities to the inhabitants of the border areas within approved development plan.

The meeting discussed various development issues related to providing safe drinking water by digging hand pumps, strengthening of irrigation system and improvement in power infrastructure.

The DC directed for expediting infrastructural development works under BADP regarding power supply, construction of play grounds, culverts, rural connectivity, rising of common facility centers, bunkers on LOC, fencing and construction works of educational institutions, skill development programs by Education and Technical Education Department, construction of paramedical quarters and sub centre.

The DDC asked the officers to meet deadlines without compromising quality specification and guidelines of the BADP scheme.

DDC, while discussing formulation of annual action plan 2019-20 under BADP, asked the concerned to submit the DPRs in this regard.
