KULGAM, JANUARY 11. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh today informed that an amount of Rs 10.40 crore has been disbursed to 21395 farmers and orchardists of Kulgam district whose crop and plants were affected during November 2018 snowfall.
He said a total of Rs 36.41 crore has been sanctioned in favour of 70079 affected farmers and orchardists and the relief amount will be paid through DBT to maintain transparency.
The ADC said that the disbursement of payment to the affected will be finished by January end.
