Srinagar: The fresh spell of snow that started yesterday has lead to the closure of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and the strategic Jawahar Tunnel on Friday.

Authorities informed that the road has been closed for the traffic on both sides due to accumulation of snow at Jawahar Tunnel.

“Commuters are requested to undertake journey on Srinagar-Jammu road only after confrmation about the status of road on the numbers mentioned below,” an official said here.
