BUDGAM, JANUARY 09: District Development Commissioner, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today flagged off Mobilization Van under DDU-GKY Himayat programme to generate awareness among the rural youth about various skill development and placement oriented courses in the district.

The Mobilization will tour across the district to generate awareness and attract maximum number of rural youth for training in various skills.

The awareness campaign has been organized by J&K SRLM, district Office Budgam in collaboration with Fidelis Corporate Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore.

The programme is sponsored by the Ministry of Rural Development under Skill Development and placement linked programme.

On the occasion, the DDC appealed the rural youth to actively get themselves enrolled for the skill development programmes for their benefit and for the larger benefit of the society.

She said that it was a wonderful opportunity for the youth to learn and get trained under these skilled programmes and find better opportunities of placements.
