Anganwadi worker bags national award

Srinagar, Jan 09: An Anganwadi Worker from Tangmarg has bagged national award for exceptional contribution.

Jabeena Akhter from Treran Tangmarg Baramulla was presented awarded a highly commendable National Award for exceptional contribution during 2017-18 as Anganwadi Worker.

The award was presented by Union minister for women & child development Mainka Sanjay Gandhi during a function held at New Delhi on 7th January 2019.

Jabeena Akhter is the only female from Kashmir to receive this award of honour for 2017-18.
