Chanting anti-administration slogans, the protesting aspirants were not allowed to go inside DC office as main gate was closed. The protestors staged sit in at entrance gate and blocked entry and exit of DC Office holding DC Baramulla and kept employees hostage till late afternoon disrupting administrative work.

The aspirants, who have been running from pillar to post to get the list released , allege that civil administration in the month of June last year announced publicly that list will be made public in the first week of August 2018  but 13 years on the list is yet to get publish.

Meanwhile, after holding DC office employees including DC Baramulla hostage for half day by keeping entrance gate blocked resulting into disruption of day work , Class IV aspirants called off their protest and the standoff  eneded after DC Baramulla Nasir Ahmed Naqash assured them before media that list will be published on coming Monday at any cost.
