Banihal, Jan 08: Two persons died and another was injured after a passenger vehicle met with an accident in Banihal area of Ramban district on Tuesday.
An official said that a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down into a 100 ft gorge on Banihal-Chapnari link road.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Shafi Bhoru and Mohammad Shafi Lone – both residents of Chapnari, seven kilometres from Banihal.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Arif Saleem, was injured in the accident. He was shifted to sub-district hospital Banihal for treatment, said the official.
