Srinagar, Jan 07: Syed Ali Shah Geelani-led Hurriyat-G on Monday disbanded its Pakistan-administered-Kashmir chapter.
According to a Hurriyat-G press release, an “extraordinary” meeting of the amalgam was held today under the chairmanship of Syed Ali Geelani at his Hyderpora residence.
“The meeting which was attended by all the constituent heads or their representatives, took some important administrative decisions and decided to disband the existing setup in All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir Chapter,” the press release said.
It said chairman’s representative Syed Abdullah Geelani was asked to take the responsibility of the forum and furnish the detailed report within two weeks so that future action will be taken accordingly.
