KATRA, DECEMBER 29: The five-day inter-block level sports competitions under ‘Khelo India’ initiative came to a jubilant end here at the SMVD Shrine Board Sports Stadium Katra.
The closing ceremony was chaired by the SDM Katra who was the chief guest on the occasion. Ashok Choudhary, Director Sports SMVDSB, ZEO Reasi, Kaka Ram and Principal GHSS Katra, Anil Verma were guests of honour at the ceremony.
SDM Katra, while addressing the students, congratulated both-the winners as well as the participants for coming in huge numbers to make the event a major success. He also asked them to strive further in their respective disciplines to be able to represent the country at major forums.
Locals applauded the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Reasi for successfully organising the games event.
Around 800 sportspersons participated in the five-day event.
