Sheeri, Dec 28: Defying all odds, Tariq Ahmad Ganai of Sheeri- the only candidate among thousands, who made it the select list of Patwari has brought jubilation to his family and friends.
Living on the margins, Ganaie belongs to a poor family with his father, a tailor master, being the only bread earner. “It was not easy for me to get through as domestic takes a toll on you and often breaks your resolve,” Ganaie said adding that he was able to translate his dream into reality by the grace of almighty as well as the prayers of his parents.
“My hard work has paid well at the end and it is all the mercy of almighty and the prayers of my parents as well as good wishes of friends and relatives that I could make it happen,” said Ganaie who was working as a teacher in a private school to assist his family.
