JAMMU, DECEMBER 27: Several delegations and individuals including former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia, newly elected ULB Councillors and Panchayat Representatives (PR) today called on Advisor to Governor, Kewal Kumar Sharma here at his Office Chamber and projected issues of public importance of their respective areas.

Former MLA, Mankotia sought creation of posts to upgrade staff at Government Higher Secondary School, Barta, Udhampur.

Interacting with Panchayat members, the Advisor said that the present as well as the former elected representatives must bring the development issues of their respective areas in the notice of the government for their redressal that will ultimately benefit the public at large.

Meanwhile, Municipal Councillor Ward no 73, Bhour-Gadigarh, Prof Youdhvir Singh met the Advisor and requested for improvement/upgradation of various roads in his ward. He demanded for upgradation of roads at Vikram Nagar, Mahakali Nagar, Azad Nagar and their allied links and requested for including the said roads in languishing projects. He further drew the attention of the Advisor towards the erosion of Edge wall on way to Shamshan Ghat Bhour.

The Advisor assured that necessary directions will be issued after the inspection by the concerned authorities.

Sarpanchs from Tehsil Pallan, Billawar and Aitti, Rajouri apprised the Advisor about development issues of their respective areas.

Member, Mata Sukrala Devi ji Shrine Tribunal, Hukum Chand Basotra and Advocate Pankaj Basotra besides several delegations including Diploma Engineer Association Jammu, residents of village Tawa, Balwal and a number of individuals met the Advisor and flagged several issues and sought their redressal.
