PC nominates IrfanRaza Ansari from Srinagar constituency

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC), led by SajadGani Lone today announced its decision to field IrfanRaza Ansari, the younger brother of Imran Raza Ansari, as its candidate for parliamentary elections 2019, from Srinagar constituency. In a tweet, the party chairman, SajadGani Lone confirmed that the decision was taken by the core group of the party. Lone extended his best wishes to IrfanRaza Ansari and hoped that he would make a ‘brilliant young parliamentarian’.   “The core group of @JKPC_ met and decided to field MrIrfanRaza Ansari as it Parliamentary candidate from Srinagar Parliamentary constituency for the 2019 General elections. I wish him the best of luck. And hope that he will make a brilliant young parliamentarian. Time for change,” Lone tweeted.

Responding to the announcement, IrfanRaza Ansari thanked the party core group as well as the chairman for nominating him for the said election stating that he was ‘humbled’ by the decision. “Humbled by my nomination as the @JKPC_ candidate for the upcoming General Elections from the Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency. I thank the Party Chairman Mr. @sajadlone, my senior colleagues and our hardworking grassroots activists for giving me an opportunity to serve,” Ansari tweeded.
