JAMMU, DECEMBER 21: A delegation of J&K Reserved Categories Empowerment Alliance led by its President Sanjay Kumar Bhasin, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation requested Governor for restoration of the Constitutional provision of reservation in promotions for the reserved categories of J&K; appointment of a person belonging to SC category as a Member of J&K PSC; provision of 27 % reservation for OBCs; appointment of SC/ST person as an Advisor to Governor; nomination of Commissioner Secretary belonging to SC/ST category in the ‘Committee’ constituted for addressing Grievances of Government employees.
Governor assured the delegation due consideration of its demands.
