Srinagar: Police in Qazigund carried out raids on various Dhabas located on National Highway and recovered huge quantity of contraband substances from the dhaba owners.
A police spokesman said that during the raid at Raja Vaishno Dhaba located at Nipora Mirbazar, 15 kilograms of fukki was recovered. One person identified as Sukhdev Kumar resident of Udhampur who was running the dhaba has been taken into custody. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered.
From Vaishno Dhaba Levdoora Qazigund, police recovered 10 bottles of liquor and 3 kilograms of fukki. One person identified as Suhail Ahmed Ganai resident of Nussu who was running the Dhaba has been arrested. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered.
Investigation in both the cases is going on, said the spokesman.
