Bandipora Dec12: The district administration on Wednesday inaugurated the 9th district Wushu Championship at north Kashmir’s Ajas Bandipora.
DC Bandipora Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chowdary was chief guest on the occasion who inaugurated the Championship at Iqbal Memorial Public School, Ajas Bandipora.
Around 230 boys and girls participated in the event which was organized by the Wushu Association of Bandipora. The championship was sponsored by Ali’s Sports Academy Bandipora.
While felicitating the organizers Dr. Shahid Iqbal said: “The event will promote Wushu Martial Arts in the area.”
SSP Bandipora, Sheikh Zulfiqar Azad, President Olympic Association Bandipora, Arsullah Habib, and Chairman Ali’s Aports Academy Fasil ali were among the dignitaries present on the occasion.
The event will conclude on 13th Dec, 2018.
