Pulwama, Dec 08: The ‘Wall of kindness’ welfare spot on Saturday reached Pulwama district as a similar wall was set up near new court complex in Pulwama Town.

The initiative first started in Srinagar city after a group of youth set up a welfare spot for the poor section of society who lack necessary clothes for this winter season in Abi-Guzar area of Srinagar city, on December 5, with a philanthropic theme “take if you need, hang if you have”.

The welfare initiative has been taken by Waseem Raja a B.E student, Suhail Ahmad a PG Arabic student from Kashmir University and Sheikh Muzaffar BSc graduate.

“We started our search for the wall in and around the Pulwama town on Friday and finally selected the wall of Boys Degree College road as the ‘Wall of kindness’,” said Raja adding that we managed to bring some clothes from our friends and relatives which we hanged there.

“We hope that in coming days the initiative will benefit those who are in need of warm clothes,” he added.
