B’la admin reviews arrangements for last day congregation

BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 06: Additional Deputy Commissioner Farooq Ahmad Baba today visited shrine of Janbaz Wali (RA) to get the first hand appraisal of arrangements put in place for the last day congregation of seven day Urs, being held   tomorrow .

The Urs is being organized at the shrine every year from December 1 to December 7 during which special prayers including shab beedari etc are organised.

The ADC was accompanied by President Municipal Council Baramulla Umar Azhar Kakroo, Chief Executive Officer MC Baramulla, EXNs of PDD, R&B and PHE, Revenue authorities and many others.

On the occasion, the Auqaf Committee members appraised the ADC about requirement of facilities at the shrine and sought provision for all basic amenities on the last day congregation. They informed the ADC that a large gathering of devotees are expected on the concluding day for the congressional prayers.

Meanwhile, ADC directed the PDD and PHE departments to provide un-interrupted Power and water supply to the people. He also directed Executive officer of Municipal Committee to ensure sanitation in and around the shrine where a large gathering of devotees is expected.
