Srinagar: The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir during his three-day tour to Union Capital (Delhi) held series of discussions with party leadership, briefing them about the current, socio, political scenario in the State.

Apart from holding detailed discussions with Rahul Gandhi, G.A. Mir also met Ambika Soni and Gulam Nabi Azad.

A statement issued from Srinagar said that JKPCC President G.A. Mir while concluding his tour of union capital called on AICC President Rahul Gandhi and briefed him about the socio, political scenario obtaining in the State.

Both the leaders held, threadbare, discussion on organizational affairs and activities in all the three regions of the State, said the statement, adding, the security scenario in the State, besides many issues of public importance also came under discussion.

On this occasion, both the leaders expressed serious concern over the fragile situation and political uncertainty prevailing in the State, holding Centre Govt directly responsible for political crisis in the State, said the statement.

Prior to the meeting with Rahul Gandhi JKPCC President also held one to one meetings with AICC General Secretary Ambika Soni, who is also incharge of Party Affairs in J&K and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad.

They also discussed the current political crisis in the State, besides holding discussions on organizational affairs and activities.
