DLRC meeting held in Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 26: District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of District Ganderbal for the quarter September 2018 was today convened under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, N.A Baba at Meeting Hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning (CPO) Ganderbal, Lead District Manager Ganderbal, DDM NABARD, Cluster Head J&K Bank Ganderbal, District officers/line departments and district coordinators of all banks operating in the district.

At the outset of the meeting, Lead District Manager Ganderbal, Reyaz Ahmad Shoga presented the overall achievements of the banks operating in the district under District Credit Plan2018-19. He also emphasized upon all banks/agencies to implement recently launched JKREGP scheme with full force.

The meeting was informed that the banks have disbursed a total amount of Rs 271.07 Crores for establishment of 10707units up to September 2018 under DCP 2018-19 out of which Rs; 122.37 Crore was extended for establishment of 5857 units under priority sector registering achievement of 26% and Rs 148.70 Crores was allotted to establishing 4850 units under non-priority sector registering an achievement of 85%. Out of priority sector Agriculture and allied activities registered 20%, Small enterprises 32%,Education 49% and housing 49% growth.

The ADDC stressed upon both banks as well as sponsoring agencies to play vital role in eradicating unemployment crisis of the district by achieving the set targets under various sectors for setting up income generating units. He also advised the financial institutions to sanction/disburse the cases strictly as per guide lines and in close co-ordination with sponsoring agencies.
