Srinagar, Nov 22: A girl was injured in a shootout in Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday morning.
Reports said that militants fired several shots at an Army camp in Khudwani during wee hours. The army soldiers retaliated, leading to a brief exchange of fire.
A girl, identified as Muskaan Jan of Wanigund, suffered a bullet injury in the firing and had to be hospitalized.
Reports quoting SSP Kulgam Harmeet Singh said that the area was cordoned off by the forces to nab the militants.
