KARGIL NOVEMBER 22: – District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) Kargil under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today approved 66 cases under Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (J&K REGP) at a meeting held here which was convened for the selection of loan proposals under this scheme.
After threadbare discussion, out of the 76 loan proposals submitted by the Khadi and Village and Industries Board (KVIB), Kargil, 66 cases were approved.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner stressed on the bankers to ensure speedy disposal of these cases so that the aspiring unemployed youths are in a position to establish their income generating units without any difficulties.
The DC expressed optimism that the units will go a long way in enhancing the socioeconomic upliftment of the unemployed youth in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Sonam Chosjor, Manager Lead Bank Kargil, Executive Officer KVIB Kargil Muhammad Hadi, Superintendent ITI Kargil besides representatives of several banks attended the meeting.
