Tanghdar: Under the aegis of Shakti Vijay Brigade 17 Bihar battalion Chamkote organised a motivational cum educational tour for 20 school children and two teachers belonging to Karnah’s Kupwara district starting from 20 to 30 November Tanghdar to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
“The aim of the tour is to provide an opportunity to the poor and privileged children of rural area to visit other states of the country and witness the diverse Indian culture and as a result help in their overall personality development,” the Army said in a statement issued today.
During the tour, the students will witness the rich culture diversity and resilient economic resurgence apart from getting opportunities to develop personal and professional outlook through visits and interactions with highest government functionaries, leading educational institutions and places of historical importance, the statement said.
