JAMMU, NOVEMBER 16: Priya Sethi, former Minister, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Sethi apprised Governor about a range of issues relating to the development of the State in the arena of tourism, culture, education and proactive role required to be played by the Government for ensuring women empowerment.
Governor and Sethi discussed the crucial importance of electing representatives to Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies for strengthening democratic institutions at grass root level. He appreciated the zeal and devotion of Sethi for ensuring public welfare and urged to continue her sustained endeavours in this regard.
