KULGAM, NOVEMBER 15: District Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Corporation Kulgam today organised an awareness programme in Kulgam town hall to sensitize people about various schemes available for setting up of income generating units for their socio-economic upliftment.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ghulam Hasssan Sheikh was the chief guest on the occasion.
People from SC/ST and other categories joined the awareness programme. During the camp, the participants were informed about setting up of income generating units and the schemes available for them.
Speaking on the occasion ADC stressed on taking maximum benefits of the schemes of the Corporation. He also urged concerned to organise more awareness camps to sensitize more people about the schemes of Corporation in other areas and villages of the district so people can avail maximum benefits of these schemes.
District Manager of the corporation informed the participants about various schemes and formalities to avail the benefits of the schemes.
Deputy Director Employment and other officials of the Corporation were present on the occasion.
