Pak doesn’t need Kashmir, it can’t handle its 4 provinces: Shahid Afridi
FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

Srinagar, Nov 14: Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi on Wednesday said that Pakistan should not be demanding Kashmir as it has not been able to handle its own four provinces.

“Don’t give Kashmir to Pakistan or India either. Let them be independent. Humanity is big thing. Humans are being killed there (in Kashmir). It hurts to see humans are being killed whatever religion they may belong,” Afridi was quoted saying by ‘ARY News’ during a press meet in London.

Speaking to students at the British Parliament, Afridi said that Pakistan was incapable of even handling the four provinces it already has, and did not need another burden.

“Main kehta hoon chalo Pakistan ko nahi chahiye Kashmir, India ko bhi na do, Kashmir apna ek mulq bane. At least insaaniyat toh zinda rahe, jo insaan mar rahein hain woh toh na ho na yaar. Nahi chahiye Pakistan ko, Pakistan se yeh chaar sube nahi samhal rahe. (I think Pakistan doesn’t need Kashmir, don’t give it to India also. Kashmir should be an independent country. At least humanity will remain alive, the people who are dying won’t die. Pakistan can’t even take care of its four provinces),” the 38-year-old Afridi added.
