Bandipora: A man who went missing after last week’s snowfall in Vewan village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district was found dead on Friday.
Sources said that seven persons had gone to a nearby forest area last Friday. As the weather turned hostile, five of them had returned home. However, two others had lost their way.
A police official said that the body of one of the missing persons was recovered today morning.
The deceased was identified as Ghulam Qadir Bhat while the other missing person was identified as Abdul Ahad Sheikh.
“Two horses that were with the missing persons were recovered,” he said.
