RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 7: District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, today visited Nari Niketan, Rajouri and celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights with the inmates there.
A warm gesture from the District Administration instilled the memorable moments for the inmates.
On the auspicious occasion, as a token of love, sweets and winter essentials like woolen clothes were distributed among the inmates. He also inquired about their living conditions, mess as well as lodging facilities.
The programme was organized by District Social Welfare Officer, Rajouri, Mohammad Naseeb. Tehsildar Rajouri and other officials of the Social Welfare Department were also present on the occasion.
A similar function was also organized at Bal Ashram, Sunderbani.
