DDC reviews progress of SBM in Anantnag

ANANTNAG, NOVEMBER 06: To review the post-snowfall situation in the district, the Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik today chaired a meeting of officers of revenue and Horticulture Department at Dak Bungalow Khanbal.

The meeting was attended by SDMs of Doru, Bijbehara, Pahalgam and Kokernag and all Tehsildars of the district and officers from Horticulture Department Anantnag.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers of both departments to visit the villages to assess the loss of fruit trees by recent heavy snowfall in the district. Earlier the   Deputy Commissioner also visited various areas including Wanpoh, Dailgam, Lisser with PDD Engineers for the restoration of power in the district to check the restoration of PDD works. He also directed SE PDD for immediate repairs of the electric tower at Wanpoh, which has been totally damaged, so that power supply can be restored to the connecting areas.
