BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 04: J&K Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste and Backward classes Development Corporation Distt Baramulla conducted an awareness camp in sweeper colony Khojabagh Baramulla where the families of sweepers were given awareness for setting up their income generating units under different activities for their upliftment.
During the camp the District Officer issued 50 forms to different families on spot who were willing to set up their income generating units on low interest rate. The units are related to willow work, automobile, load carrier and electronic products.
The officer also highlighted the benefits of the schemes among the participants. The corporation has already provided the the financial assistance to schedule tribe, backward classes, handicapped persons and minorities, besides safai karmcharies in the district.
