GANDERBAL, OCTOBER 26: The District Panchayat Election Officer, Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla, today appointed eight Returning Officers and 32 Assistant Returning Officers for Kangan block and three ROs and 15 AROs for Gund block with the issuance of notification for the second phase of Panchayat Elections 2018.
Pertinently, date of polling (wherever necessary) for Panchayat Halqas of Block Kangan is on November 20, 2018 and for Gund is on November 17, 2018.
Nomination papers can be obtained free of cost from the concerned ROs/AROs and Assistant Returning Officers Headquarter besides, duly filled nomination papers shall have to be submitted in the office of concerned ROs/AROs or Assistant Returning Officers Headquarter.
For Kangan block ARO Headquarter is located at Assistant Floriculture Officer, Ganderbal, Room number 411, Mini Secretariat Complex Ganderbal.
Whereas, for Gund block ARO Headquarter is located at Assistant Director Fisheries, Room number 406 Mini Secretariat Complex, Ganderbal.
Furthermore, nodal officers have been appointed to ensure the smooth, free and fair conduct of Panchayat Elections-2018.
