Srinagar, Oct 25: A woman died and two others were seriously injured in a road accident in Ganderbal district on Thursday.
An official said a truck (JK07-4017) and a car (JK04-5200) collided at Baroosa bypass in Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to three persons travelling in the car.
All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital wherefrom a critically injured woman, identified as Neelofer (50), wife of Bashir Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Bandipora, was referred to SKIMS Soura where she succumbed.
Police have registered a case in this regard.
