GANDERBAL, OCTOBER 25: A meeting with regard to review for implementation of government sponsored schemes under PMEGP was held in the office chambers of Additional District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, N.A Baba here today.
The meeting was attended by the district officers from DIC, KVIC, KVIB, Handloom, Handicrafts and Lead District Manager, Ganderbal.
ADDC Ganderbal took a threadbare review for the half year plan 2018-19. He stressed upon review of physical and financial targets for second half of the financial year so that maximum of subsidy component available with the sponsoring agencies is dispensed with for the benefit of eligible beneficiaries.
Further ADDC directed the bankers to extend their proactive support to the beneficiaries under the scheme. He also enjoined upon the officers to provide full support to the budding entrepreneurs especially to the unemployed youth so as to provide them an opportunity to establish various income generating units. He impressed upon the handicrafts department for mobilization of recovery in repayment of ACC loan in the district, besides ensuring reimbursement of overdue interest subsidy to banks outstanding with them.
Lead district manager ensured every possible co-operation for maximum implementation of the plan.
