Srinagar: All the exams of school education department scheduled for Thursday will be conducted as per schedule, officials said.

Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) G N Itoo said the class 8th and 9th exams to be conducted by State Institute of Education (SIE) will be held as per schedule.

“We decided to conduct the exams as per schedule after taking feedback from all deputy commissioners in south Kashmir districts,” Itoo said. He said the department will make arrangement for supplementary exams in case any student couldn’t appear in exams tomorrow.

“Students should not panic,” he said.

Meanwhile, JK Board of School Education (BOSE) has also decided to conduct the class 12th exams as per schedule tomorrow. “There is no change in the schedule,” a spokesman of BOSE said.
