Income slab ceiling for creamy layer among Backward Classes enhanced

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 23: The State Committee headed by Principal Secretary, Finance, Navin K Choudhary, today cleared the proposal for enhancement of income slab ceiling for creamy layer among the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes under J&K Reservation Act/Rules.

The Committee, which met at the office chambers of the Finance Secretary, cleared the proposal to enhance the threshold for creamy layer from Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh as per the norm of the Government of India.
