SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 14: Abdul Gani Vakil, former Minister, called on Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan today.
Vakil, while extending his warm greetings on his maiden meeting with the Governor, informed him of the pressing problems being faced by the local population.
The Governor assured the former minister that his administration shall take effective and focused steps to remedy all urgent issues.
Governor further assured that special emphasis will be given to important sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, tourism, horticulture and others to enable speedy development in the state. Besides, remedial measures will be taken to curb and reduce the quantum of unemployment and corruption in the state.
Governor urged Vakil to continue his endeavours for promoting the people’s welfare.
