Jammu, Oct 11:  An Army soldier was injured Wednesday night when Indian and Pakistan troops exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, a defence spokesperson said Thursday.

“The Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in Krishnagati sector at 9.30 pm Wednesday night,” he said.

The injured soldier was evacuated to a military hospital and is out of danger, the spokesperson said.
