SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 10: A delegation of newly elected office-bearers of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today met Advisor to Governor BB Vyas here.

Principal Secretary Finance, Navin K Choudhary was also present during the interaction.

The Deputation while discussing the overall scenario of Industries and Commerce in the state, projected several issues which included weaver of interest/penalty on the pending arrears of taxes under the old VAT regime, besides implementation of power amnesty scheme for Industrialists, Hoteliers tourists resort owners, small-scale industries and sick industries.

While interacting with the delegation, the Advisor assured that he would look into their demands.

The KCCI delegation comprised Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, President, Nasir Hamid Khan, Senior Vice President, Abdul Wahid Malik, President KHAROF and Altaf Ahmad Trumboo, Executive Member, KCC&I.
