Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Thursday called for a complete shutdown on Friday to pay tributes to the slain militant, Manan Wani.

Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in his tweet expressed pain over the killing of Manan Wani in an encounter, saying that “we lost a budding intellectual and writer like him, fighting for the of cause of self-determination.”

He also said that the JRL appealed people to observe a complete shutdown on Friday to pay tributes to the slain militant.
